MATCH ASSIGNMENTS Currently registered USSF soccer officials are eligible to work any USSF affiliated match in the United States. Locally in Spokane, USSF officials can work youth matches for SpVJSA, SYSA and/or IEYSA. The adult matches listed on the website are also affiliated (US Club Soccer). Our local referee association is IESRA- Inland Empire Soccer Referee Association. This is the only soccer referee association in the area. The local website is www.spokaneref.org, Adult, High School and youth matches are assigned on this website. If you plan to travel to out of the state to work soccer matches, please contact the Area Referee Administrator. YOUTH SOCCER MATCHES A list of the current youth assignors is listed on the referee website under the Information menu. Youth Assignors are responsible for the following areas of Spokane; South Complex/South Hill, North Spokane, Cheney and Andrew Rypien, Plantes Ferry Park and Spokane Valley, Joe Albi Stadium, Dwight Merkel Sports Complex,Deer Park, Lakeside, Riverside, Newport, Mead, SYSA Indoor Center. Premier youth matches are manually assigned by the IESRA, PDL and State League youth assignor. Select/District youth matches CR are self-assigned, and AR are self-assigned. Recreational matches are self-assigned. You may also find youth games that work into your schedule and "request" the match. When you request a match, an email will go directly to the youth assignor with the match details you are requested. ADULT SOCCER MATCHES Referees interested in working adult matches should contact the IESRA adult games assignor. The current assignor is listed on the referee website under the Information menu. The IESRA adult assignor manually assigns the adult leagues. You may also find games that work into your schedule and "request" the match. When you request a match, an email will go to directly to the assignor with the match details that you are requesting. HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER MATCHES High school games are affiliated with the WIAA and the Washington Officials Association and require an additional clinic and test. High school soccer is played under a different rule book. Referees interested in working high school matches should contact the IESRA high school assignor. The current assignor is listed on the referee website under the Information menu. High school matches are manually assigned. High school games require you to complete a high school risk management check (separate from the youth form and complete an on-line clinic and on-line test. Many adults that have completed the entry level clinic may be ready to begin working lines on high school junior varsity matches. INDOOR SOCCER MATCHES Indoor soccer matches are NOT affiliated with USSF. Indoor matches listed on our referee website have a contract with our referee association and have shown IESRA proof of liability insurance. Rules for indoor matches can be found on the business' website. FUTSAL SOCCER MATCHES Futsal Soccer matches are affiliated with USSF. Futsal matches listed on our referee website have a contract with our referee association and have shown us proof of liability insurance. Futsal officials are required to attend a futsal clinic, take a futsal rules test and register with the USSF as a futsal official annually. COLLEGE SOCCER MATCHES College matches are affiliated with National Interscholastic Soccer Officials Association and require an additional clinic and test. College soccer is played under a different rule book. Application requirements for college officiating can be found on the www.nisoa.org website. College matches are not assigned or listed on our local referee website. IDAHO MATCHES Idaho matches are NOT posted on our local referee website.
